KCD blends a variety of dance forms with theatrical flare and elegance, while maintaining an emotional core.  Our unique blend of technique and artistry gives rise to a compelling and innovative style of contemporary dance. 


We create and perform works that are accessible, emotional, and imaginative.  Our work is honest, touching, and engaging.  It is important to us to make good art that is visible and approachable - that all audiences can experience, relate to, and take with them.  

We want to reach out to all audiences so that they feel motivated and encouraged to go out and experience more dance and other art forms.  We hope to facilitate in building audiences and help create a larger appreciation for the arts in general.

People want to be moved, they want to feel, they want to understand… dance can do that for them.  It has the power to touch us emotionally – it gets under our skin and moves us.
